The central hole lets you fix it with a screw, bolt or pin, or slide it onto a shaft, for mounts, closures, sensors and model or DIY builds.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eN48 is one of the higher grades of neodymium and gives a high holding force for its size (N50 and N52 are stronger still). The calculated pull force is approx. 13 kg when the magnet sits directly on a thick, flat steel plate.
