Ball Magnets

Neodymium sphere magnets, also called ball magnets or magnetic balls, can rotate freely while still holding firmly. That makes them useful for flexible joints, pivots, jointed models, closures, displays and physics demonstrations.

Diameters run from 3.175 mm (1/8 inch) to 40 mm, including 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12.7, 15, 19 and 26 mm spheres. The 13, 30 and 40 mm spheres are stated as grade N48. Because a sphere touches a flat surface at a single point, choose a larger diameter when holding force matters more than movement.
