Pot Magnets

Pot magnets, also called cup magnets, set a magnet into a steel cup that concentrates the holding force on one face and protects the magnet from chipping. They are the standard way to mount signage, lighting, tools and fixtures on steel without drilling.

Diameters range from 10 mm to 88 mm. Fixing options include a countersunk hole, an M3 to M8 threaded bush, an internal thread, a threaded stud, a cable attachment or a flat back for gluing. Rubber-coated pot magnets from 31 to 88 mm help protect painted surfaces. All are neodymium except one 63 x 14 mm ferrite pot magnet with an M8 threaded bush.
