Rod Magnets
Neodymium rod magnets, also known as cylinder magnets, are longer than they are wide. That makes them the natural choice for drilled holes, sensors, reed switches, positioning pins and concealed fixings in wood or plastic.
Diameters run from 1 mm to 25 mm and lengths reach 100 mm, from a 1 x 2 mm micro rod to 15 x 100 mm and 25 x 100 mm bars. Where stated, grades are N45, N48, N50 or N52, and several sizes are nickel-plated. The range also includes a diametrically magnetised 10 x 50 mm N52 rod, a 10 x 200 mm Alnico rod magnet and an 8 x 25 mm ferrite rod.
