1. On which surfaces does the adhesive stick best?
The 3M adhesive works best on clean, dry and grease-free surfaces. Smooth materials such as lacquered wood, glass, metal and hard plastics are ideal. For porous materials (such as raw concrete or textiles), the self-adhesive layer is less suitable.
2. How do I get the best stitches?
After placement, press the magnet firmly and preferably allow the glue to harden for 24 hours before fully charging the magnet. This ensures that the adhesive reaches its maximum strength.
3. Do I need a "north" and "south" version?
If you want to connect two magnets (for example, a map), you need one magnet with the adhesive strip at the south pole and one with the adhesive strip at the north pole. Are you going to glue the magnet to a metal base? Then the polarity doesn't matter.
