Description
Are you looking for a powerful magnet that won't damage sensitive surfaces? This 22 x 6.4 mm neodymium disc magnet has a high-quality rubber coating. With a pull force of about 5 kg, this magnet is the perfect solution for attachments to varnished surfaces, such as cars, white goods or metal furniture, where scratches and slippage must be avoided.
Why choose this 22 x 6.4 mm Rubber Coated Magnet?
The combination of a strong neodymium core and a soft rubber exterior makes this magnet unique. The rubber coating not only protects against scratches but also significantly increases the frictional resistance in the sliding direction.
Protective Rubber Layer: The black rubber coating prevents scratches on fragile surfaces and protects the magnet itself from moisture and corrosion.
High Friction Resistance: Thanks to the rubber, the magnet moves more slowly on vertical planes than standard metal magnets.
Reliable Pull Force: Despite the rubber interlayer, the neodymium core provides a solid holding force of 5 kg.
Durable and Versatile: The envelope makes the magnet more weather resistant, making it also suitable for short-term outdoor use.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Is this magnet suitable for use on cars?
Yes, this magnet is ideal for attaching signs or lights to car roofs and bodies because the rubber coating protects the paint from scratches.
2. Can I use this magnet outside?
The rubber coating provides good protection against moisture. Although neodymium magnets are normally susceptible to rust, the rubber coating significantly extends their service life when used outdoors.
3. Why does the pull force feel different than a naked magnet?
The rubber layer acts as a small "air gap" between the magnet and the metal, which slightly reduces the sheer pull force. However, the slip resistance (slip force) is much higher because of the rubber's roughness than a smooth nickel coating.

Safety
Neodymium magnets are very strong. Keep them away from pacemakers, electronics and magnetic cards, wear gloves with larger sizes and keep small magnets away from children.
